Paper Cut Goodness

Hi, I’ve found some more inspiring paper artists. Here are three images by three artists that I’ve just stumbled on. They might be really well known but I’m new to this funky paper cut world! Here’s Andrea Dezsö’s ‘Washington Post BookWorld Cover Art’, Andy Singleton’s ‘They Loved What They Found’ window and Bèatrice Coron’s ‘A Web Of Time’. Give me a scalpel and I’ll give it a go! Has anyone out there tried paper cut before? I’d love to hear how you went.

Barn Owl

On our recent trip to South Australia my husband and I went to Kangaroo Island. Look at this little guy! He’s from Raptor Domain and his name is Shadow. Inspiring or what?! I think my next piece might involve a Barn Owl. If you’re ever in SA then it’s a must see!

Going Cuckoo?

I’m going cuckoo for cuckoo clocks! I’ve always loved them. My auntie used to have one and I always remember being mesmerised by the little hiccupping bird! Her home was filled with the heartbeat of that charming clock. Just magic!

Why do I always imagine lederhosen, blonde plaits and hear, “My name is Inga,” when I see them?

I got this wonderful photo from the Phillips’ Clocks Shop website. Check it out here.

Bald Eagle

Here’s my latest one folks. It’s a Bald Eagle but it doesn’t have a title yet. Hope you like it. It’s a work in progress but it should be finished soon. Let’s hope I don’t stuff it up! Hey, any suggestions for a title?

Paper Dresses

Look at these! These dresses were made by Brazilian designer Jum Nakao and I absolutely love them. I was checking out one of my favourite blogs, Once Upon A Fold, when there they were! Might be a bit scrunchy to wear though… Do you love them or what?
